Strange Solution For Chiranjeevi’s Heroine Problem

Finding a suitable heroine for senior Telugu heroes is a tough task. The makers of Chiranjeevi’s Godfather, the Telugu remake of Lucifer are getting to learn it the hard way.

At first, the makers of the Chiranjeevi starrer initiated talks with Nayanthara for the protagonist’s sister role in the film. They put in their best efforts to persuade Nayanthara to sign the project.

However, the Nayanthara is said to have rejected the offer and she has opted not to be a part of the project. Now that the shooting has started, finding an actress who suits the specifications of the character and bringing her on board in such a short time is practically near to impossible.

So, the makers of Godfather have decided to remove the said character from the film. They rewrote the entire track and came up with a fresh narrative.

In the original, Manju Warrier played the protagonist’s sister role and this track forms the crux of the film. Now, the makers of Godfather are said to have altered the main plot, as mentioned.

This really is a strange solution for the ‘heroine’ problem. Instead of searching for alternative options, the makers have changed the main plot. This isn’t something that we see too often.

Godfather is a political drama and it is being directed by Mohan Raja. Thaman is composing the music for the Chiranjeevi starrer.
