Su from So OTT Twist: Not on Prime Anymore?

Kannada cinema continues to surprise audiences with fresh stories, and Su from So has become the latest film to create buzz. Mixing comedy, horror, and social satire, it has quickly gained attention. Though its Telugu-dubbed version in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana struggled at the box office, viewers praised it as bold, hilarious, and inventive.

Su from So has collected nearly Rs. 100 crores worldwide across all versions, which is remarkable for a film without stars or a big budget. It also marked the debut of JP Thuminad as both hero and director. Acclaimed actor and filmmaker Raj B. Shetty played a key role while also producing the film, bringing both freshness and credibility.

After a successful 25-day theatrical run, the movie is preparing for its digital release. It has been officially confirmed that Jio Hotstar will stream the film, while Colors Kannada has taken the satellite rights. The Telugu version will be aired on Star Maa.

There was speculation earlier that Prime Video might acquire the rights, but Jio Hotstar finalised the deal. Fans are now waiting eagerly for the official streaming date, which will be announced soon.

With its unique genre mix, sharp storytelling, and growing cult following, Su from So is ready to reach a larger audience on OTT. The film has already established itself as one of the most exciting experiments in recent Kannada cinema.
