Sudeep to play Pawan's role in remake!

Super hit Hindi ‘OMG – Oh My God! and Telugu movie Gopala Gopala will soon be remade into a Kannada movie featuring renowned actors Sudeep and Upendra. After the numerous fingers being pointed at the Hindi remake, the filmmakers are being too careful with the Kannada remake. Apparently, over 50% of the scenes from the movie will be changed to take people’s religious sentiments into consideration.

The movie, which has been called out for its similarities with films like ‘The Man Who Sued God’ and ‘Bruce Almighty’, will feature Sudeep in the role of Lord Krishna played by Pawan in Telugu while actor Upendra will play a commoner seeing all the sufferings in life and suing God played by Venkatesh in Gopala Gopala.

This movie will mark the partnership of three production houses, Kichcha Creations owned by Sudeep is one of them. Directed by Nanda Kishore of ‘Victory’ fame, this remake will be Kishore’s second time working with Sudeep.
