Like always Allu Arjun had special praise reserved for Sukumar saying that the entire country is saying his name and he deserves the entire credit for the film’s success.
But then, the speech led to something unexpected. Allu Arjun called Sukumar as ‘Bandi Sukumar Reddy garu’.
He got Sukumar’s name wrong. Sukumar’s full name is Bandireddi Sukumar.
The issue even became Reddy Vs Kapu debate on social media as some people were angry with Allu Arjun for denying the credit of Pushpa 2 to their Kapu community.
This unintended issue became a headache for Sukumar’s team.
They have to send a clarification that the director’s full name is Bandireddi Sukumar.
Sukumar missed all of the Pre-release promotions. After the release, he attended the Hyderabad Pressmeet.
While everyone expected him to attend all the post-release Pressmeets, he missed this Pressmeet in Delhi as well.
