Sukumar’s Confusing Yet Creative Appreciation

Director Sukumar known for his unique vision and creativity has come with an open letter in appreciation of Uppena’s director Buchi Babu Sana. It reflects trademark Sukumar thoughts (confusing exterior yet logical) and is, therefore, a genuinely ‘unique’ appreciation.

Sukumar openly wonders what the ‘student’ learnt from him to come up with an epic like Uppena. He can understand that by turning a student again and discovering that hidden thing inside him. It is this unique yet creative wording that is his trademark style.

Sukumar has been showering all the love to Buchi Babu Sana whenever possible. Even in the letter, he puts it as Sa-‘Na’, as in my Sana Buchi Babu. It shows the love and affection he has for the debut director.

Uppena is running riots in cinemas across the Telugu states. It is holding extraordinarily well even on the weekdays. On the first Monday, Uppena collected over 4.5 Cr, according to the makers. It is all set to cross the 40 Cr in a couple of days. The trade is currently astonished looking at the performance and is waiting to make a final total prediction.

Vaisshnav Tej and Krithi Shetty debuted with Uppena. Vijay Sethupathy was seen in a critical role, playing the heroine’s father. Devi Sri Prasad provided the music for the Mythri Movie Makers production.
