Summer schedule 2016 – A roundup

The Sankranthi season is well and truly over with a clear cut winner. Now all eyes have shifted to the summer season where multiple biggies and biggest challenges lie ahead. Here is a quick glance at the various films competing with each to be summer 2016 winner.

After nearly half a decade Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Superstar Mahesh Babu will be competing for biggest grosser of the season. Both Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Brahmotsavam (April 29/May 27) are slated to release in few weeks gap with the former confirmed to arrive on April 8.

Can Bunny surprise with Sarrainodu (April 22/April 29)? His film too will be arriving amidst the above mentioned films. There is good buzz on his film and with right talk he could live up to the title of his film. Then there are Trivikram A Aa (April 22/May 6) with Nithin which is aimed at taking the actor to next level and Maruthi’s Babu Bangaram (May 20) which could see another senior hero proving his worth as star and Oopiri (March 25), Nagarjuna’s next after Sankranthi victory.

Besides these Telugu films three prominent Tamil dubbed films too will be arriving in summer. Superstar’s Kabali (May 13), Suriya’s 24 (May 27) and Vijay’s Merupu (April 14). The former two are carrying massive hype and could give a run for the money for our Telugu films. Which among these films are you most excited for?
