Sunny Deol has officially announced the release date of his upcoming film Gabru. The film will hit theatres on 13th March 2026, which also happens to be his birthday.
Gabru is said to be one of Sunny Deol’s most emotional films. He shared the motion poster today, showing himself with arms spread wide, light shining in front, and a city skyline visible ahead a frame that fans are already discussing online.
The film features Sunny Deol in the lead, with Simran Bagga and Prit Kamani in key roles. It is directed by Shashank Udapurkar and produced by On Chhangani.
Fans have been praising the film’s title and Sunny’s expressions in the motion poster. Some, however, find his pose similar to Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic gesture. Still, Gabru faces a bigger challenge than that.
Just six days after its release, Yash’s highly anticipated Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups will arrive in theatres on 19th March 2026. With both stars commanding strong fan bases, this close release could split audiences and hurt box office numbers for Gabru.
