A breather for Nandamuri family and fans at last, as the new film of Kalyan Ram, has posted a decent weekend at the box office. Word of mouth is doing the trick with as the third day had the best occupancies in many areas.

After a normal opening day, the second day of the Kalyan Ram starrer 118 saw steady collections on day two without much drop. It was the first sign of acceptance among the audience. And then the big pick up and best day coming on Sunday have made sure the thriller has a decent hold throughout the weekend. The opening weekend collections are estimated to be a little above 4 Cr.

The good news is it is a holiday on the fourth day as well, courtesy Maha Shivarathri. It could be seen as an extended weekend for 118. However, we have to keep in mind that 118 is not the usual commercial mass entertainer and its appeal, irrespective of its liking, is going to be less. As the pre-release business has been done moderately, the weekend gives the Kalyan Ram starrer high chances of breakeven. KV Guhan is the director whereas Mahesh S Koneru produced the thriller.
