Superstar apologizes to Telugu audience

Superstar Rajinikanth has been in town today for the audio launch of his soon to release film Lingaa. It was done hurriedly in last moment but the presence of the star himself made up for it.

It was speaking at this function that the star apologized for his absence from the recently concluded Memu Saitam event. Rajini said that he had to attend a marriage during the same time and hence couldn’t make it to the event. The event as we all know was organized by Telugu film industry to generate funds for Hudhud victims.

Coming to the audio function Megastar Chiranjeevi who was expected to arrive as guest to the event couldn’t make it in the last minute and the reasons for it remain unknown. Allu Aravind and director Trivikram Srinivas made it to the event instead along with heroines of the film Anushka and Sonakshi Sinha. Lingaa hits the screens worldwide in Tamil and Telugu on December 12.
