Superstar enacts high drama before Pune Jail

Though Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt forwarded his plea to extend his furlough for 14 days more, he didn’t receive any response from the Erawada Prison authorities and hence decided to surrender himself and left home for jail. Much to the embarrassment of the Prison officials, Sanjay Dutt went back home without surrendering himself.

As the superstar applied for the extension of his furlough and since his application is still pending with the officials, his lawyer technically adviced him that there is no need to surrender until his extension for plea is processed and decided upon. His lawyer says, “Sanjay Dutt reached Pune jail along with my colleague this afternoon when there was a news flash that the Minister concerned has made a statement that since the application seeking extension of furlough is pending, he (Dutt) does not require to surrender.”

Though the superstar’s furlough isn’t extented, he could make use of the lapses in the details of technicalities of the law and cleverly go back to family without surrendering. In the wake of allegations on granting repeated favours for the actor, seems the favours are indeed granted in a different way that couldn’t be questioned. The more the delay to read his plea, the more time he can spend with family. What an arrangement!
