Superstar fulfils his promise

Superstar Rajinikanth has fulfilled his promise that he made at the Lingaa audio success meet. The star actor has donated 5 lakhs to the CM relief fund for Vizag Hudhud victims.

We all know the kind of disaster that nature havocked on Vizag. What followed after the disaster struck was a thing that made everyone appreciate the Telugu people in general and cinema people in particular. Number of stars and actors came forward to donate to the relief operations and even organized an event together. Amidst all these Rajinikanth who has tremendous good will in Telugu cinema, was missing in action. So when the star appeared in Hyderabad to promote his film, the question about his absence was asked and it was then that he promised to help and explained the reason for missing earlier.

Disasters like Hudhud are unfortunate but it’s in unfortunate circumstances that the true character comes out. It was good to see finally Rajini too come forward with his response.
