Superstar gets British actor in Lingaa

British model turned actress Lauren J Irwin is doing an important role in superstar Rajinikanth’s Lingaa, which is currently on floors. Rajini is shooting for the film at breakneck speed especially because he wants to complete it as soon as possible.

Lauren, who is said to playing an important role in the pre-independence portion in the film, is all excited about her Indian debut and raved about Superstar’s popularity in India where she watched Kochadaiiyaan. She has already started shooting with and a picture featuring her and Rajini has already gone viral since yesterday. The project has already created enough buzz because it features Sonakshi Sinha opposite Rajini for the first time.

Directed by Rajini’s best friend K.S Ravi Kumar, Lingaa is likely to release during Diwali or Sankranti next year. Meanwhile, the superstar’s latest film might have received mixed reviews but it has minted over INR 50 crore at the box-office already.
