Superstars’ Dubbing films: Out of Sight, Out of Mind

The movies of Tamil superstars like Kamal Haasan, Rajnikanth, Vikram and Surya simultaneously get dubbed into Telugu and get almost the same verdict as the their Tamil versions. And our own Telugu guy Vishal makes sure that his every movie gets dubbed into Telugu sooner or later.

But recently some movies which had been blockbusters in Tamil didn’t come to Telugu audiences as dubbing movies. Vijay’s ‘Kaththi’ rewrote records in Kollywood and was said to be considered for a remake in Telugu with Pawan Kalyan. Leave about the remake, even the Telugu dubbing took back stage.

Karthis’ recent movie ‘Madras’ breathed oxygen to his career in Kollywood. And Telugu audiences who always patronised Karthi’s movies were denied the dubbing version of his superhit ‘Madras’. Coming to the present Thala Ajith’s movie ‘Yennai Arindhal’, it hit theatres on 5th Feb, Thursday and running with successful talk.

Ajith, Anushka and Trisha starrer was said to be dubbed into Telugu as ‘Entha Vaadu Gaani’ and to be released simultaneously. Inspite of Telugu posters and teasers, the movie failed to go for simultaneous release in Telugu. In case of Dhanush, even his long forgotten movies like ‘Aadukaalam’ are being dubbed into Telugu to cash the latest craze he earned after ‘Raghuvaran B Tech’.
