Superstar’s properties to be auctioned to clear loans

Looks like Superstar Rajinikanth is going through some troubled times financially. The actor’s latest releases didn’t do that well at the box office which resulted in few distributors coming to him for recovery and now we have a latest issue where he is most probably going to have his properties auctioned.

The news out is that in order to clear the financial issues pertaining to his wife Latha, the star will have to sell off some of his properties. A notice to this effect has been released by Exim Bank. Apparently, Latha, wife of Superstar, has been involved as a stakeholder in Media one. The company is unable to pay the loan in time which is to be taken care of by Latha. As it’s not paid on time, the bank has sent the notice.

Whatever one may say, 2014 has been a financially bad year for the star what with two of his films, Kochadaiiyaan and Lingaa, facing huge loses and now this auction issue.
