First of all he did not take the film to sets until he got the right star for the character of God in the film. Suresh Babu sold the film in territories where it was a risk venture like Nellore and Ceded etc and retained the rights for areas like East and West where films perform at their best for Sankranthi festival. He is now reaping the benefits as Gopala Gopala is going extremely strong in these areas compared to others.
