Suriya likely to land in legal troubles

This seems to be a season of superstars in Kollywood getting entangled in legal hassles. The latest entrant who might probably get himself into legal troubles is Suriya for his upcoming movie’s title and poster ’24’. As we know ’24’ is the title of a very popular TV series in America. The same is being presented in Hindi with the same title ’24’ and a similar logo on television.

Popular yesteryear hero Anil Kapoor has played the lead in the Hindi version of the television series which had become an instant hit and the makers of the tv series are already in the making of the second season of the series. Now Anil Kapoor is feeling threatened for the title being used for Suriya’s upcoming movie and the logo bearing resemblances with the original ’24’ American telly series.

Anil Kapoor has talked about the same with Suriya directly before going for any strict legal action. And Suriya immediately responded to Anil saying he would talk with his team and give his reply to the Bollywood star. Anil got the rights from 20th Fox Century International TV and if Suriya doesn’t comply to change the logo and issues related to the title, Anil’s team would proceed for further action on the makers of the South movie.
