Suriya Quit Smoking for Good

When an initiative is taken up by a star hero like Suriya, it will definitely reach larger audiences and therefore, Suriya quitting smoking scenes in his movies is a good gesture that would become a model for other star heroes to follow. He is setting an example not only for his fans but also for his fellow actors.

Coming to his charity work, Suriya is known for his help for the educational programmes through his Agaram Foundation. He has initiated the first big charity work and decided to build ten restrooms each in hundreds of government schools across Tamil Nadu state. Besides the construction, his fans also will take care of the maintenance of the toilets throughout the year.

He has chosen 400 schools across Tamil Nadu to provide toilets. The good thing about this charity work is that Suriya isn’t just doling out money but involving his fans actively who would take care of the maintenance through Fans Welfare Association. A thoughtful move, indeed!
