Suriya Slaps Them Hard, Twice!

Actor Suriya’s recent flick Jai Bhim is streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The film has opened to a positive response from both audience and critics alike. Not only the film but the actor’s earnest performance is also getting lauded.

While it is a celebratory moment for the Jai Bhim team, that was not the case before the release. As things have returned to normalcy and given that the Tamil Nadu government has allowed 100 percent theater occupancy, yet Jai Bhim team went for a direct-to-OTT release.

The decision came down heavily against the team by the industry traders. However, the team remained unfazed. And now that the positive accolades are coming in, their decision proved right.

This is not the first time that Suriya came under the radar. His previous film Soorarai Pottru too had a direct-to-OTT release. And the film was unanimously hailed by both the public and critics. Despite being a huge star, Suriya went on with back-to-back OTT releases. And with everything positive, Suriya has slapped the naysayers not once but twice by scoring a hit.
