Suriya to take Balakrishna’s place?

From the way things are panning across the Telugu and Tamil film industries, it looks like a Tamil star may take over the place of a Telugu biggie after all. The Tamil star is Suriya and the Telugu biggie is Balakrishna’s upcoming Dictator.

Buzz in the industry is that Balayya’s Dictator would be still unfinished by the time of Sankranthi festivities. Only a rushed production could bring it on time which the makers don’t want to as they are confident on the product. Suriya meanwhile will be ready with the film 24 and have a simultaneous Telugu and Tamil release for the festival.

So far the only film that has been confirmed for the biggest festival season in Telugu is Jr NTR starrer Nannaku Prematho. A wait and see game is adopted by the makers therefore to fix a final release date for the film. It is currently locked for January 8 release.
