Surya restricts his wife to women-centrics

It is already old news that Surya’s wife Jyothika is going to come back to movies with the remake of superhit Malayalam movie ‘How old are you?’. Ofcourse both Telugu and Tamil audiences are equally happy to hear the news. Surya has bought the remake rights of the film and he is going to make the film under his home production 2D Entertainments.

Speaking on the remake Surya revealed that it was he who felt that Jyothika would be good to play the character played by Manju Warrier. But she took two days to take the decision to come back. Morever the film shows women in positive light and that has made Surya to make the decision.

There is still a doubt if Jyothika will continue acting or restrict herself to one film. Surya clarifies that Jyothika will continue acting provided that the script has real substance and it is basically a women-centric movie. So, it is clear that Jyothika isn’t going to romance any hero on screen even though she is making a come back into films. Film makers! Are you listening? Strictly women-centric.
