Mega Family’s Nominated Posts: Sushmita Joins The List

The Mega family’s political footprint is getting harder to ignore and Pawan Kalyan sits right at the centre of it. Pawan, now the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has taken the Mega family’s presence in politics to an entirely different level. And around his rise, more family members are now finding their own space in nominated positions.

After Nagababu recently took charge as chairman of the AP Green Executive Committee, Chiranjeevi’s daughter Sushmita Konidela has now reportedly been appointed as a special invitee to the Vijayawada Durga Temple Trust Board.

The timing makes the pattern interesting.

Pawan holds a major political position in Andhra Pradesh. Nagababu has also received a key government-linked role. Now Sushmita has entered the picture, while Chiranjeevi’s wife Surekha was recently appointed to the Yadadri temple governing body in Telangana.

Pawan, Nagababu, Surekha and now Sushmita, the Mega family is no longer represented in public life only through cinema but also politics.

The family’s footprint is slowly spreading into different corners of the system. And Pawan’s political rise appears to be the biggest reason this new Mega-family chapter is attracting attention.
