Actress Overshadowed Male Actors?

There are only a few actresses in our Indian Cinema who have made a place in the industry as bold performers who can even overshadow their male counterparts by sheer virtue of their talent and performances. Taapsee Pannu has earned that name with a lot of hard work and also the way she has portrayed challenging roles.

After ‘Pink’ and ‘Mulk’ that gave her the unstoppable image, Taapsee‘s upcoming movie ‘Manmarziyan’ is in the news for all the right reasons. The movie was recently in Toronto International Film Festival. This Anurag Kashyap directorial is said to have Taapsee overshadowing her male actors Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal.

In fact, the director of the movie chose the male actors after he chose Taapsee. He selected them keeping Taapsee in mind, the actors who could compliment her. She is getting sensational reviews for her performance in ‘Manmarziyan’. The movie is coming to theatres on 14th September. By the way, it’ not a serious film like her ‘Pink’ or ‘Mulk’ that catapulted her to stardom. It’s a rom-com.
