Actress slapped hard, AD faints on sets

Call it miscommunication or vanity, an upcoming actress Meenakshi slapped one of the assistant directors of upcoming movie ‘Ner Mugam’ directed by Murali Krishnan. She slapped him so hard that the assistant director, Shankar fainted on the sets. The shocked technicians stormed towards her demanding an apology.

There are two different versions making rounds regarding the reason why Meenakshi slapped the technician. The first version says she got angry when Shankar was apparently chatting in a sign language with friends on sets. She misunderstood, called him and slapped him hard.

The second version says, Meenakshi was angry because the assistant director went into her van to drink water without taking permission. When the technicians on the sets surrounded her, Meenakshi went into her vanity van but on demand she tendered a written apology which pacified the unit and later continued with her shoot.
