Yash’s Toxic Falls Victim to AI Allegations? Shocking

The first-look poster featuring Tara Sutaria from Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has sparked an unexpected debate online. Soon after its release, several social media users began questioning the authenticity of the visual.

The pan-India film stars Yash in the lead role and is directed by Geetu Mohandas. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026.

The poster introduces Sutaria as Rebecca. This reveal follows earlier character posters featuring Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, and Nayanthara.

However, shortly after the poster went public, a section of the audience flagged what they described as AI-like inconsistencies. Much of the criticism focused on the way Sutaria is shown holding a revolver.

Users on Reddit and X claimed that the hand grip, lighting, and background appeared unnatural. Some even suggested that multiple promotional posters from the film relied heavily on artificial generation.

These claims spread quickly across social media, turning the poster into a topic of debate beyond its intended promotional impact. A few users also questioned whether the image was officially released by the makers.

At the same time, not everyone agreed with the criticism. Several viewers defended the poster, stating that its stylised appearance aligns with the dark and gritty tone of the film’s world.

Supporters argued that the visuals could be a deliberate creative choice rather than a technical issue. Many also expressed curiosity about Sutaria’s apparent move into a more intense on-screen role.

So far, the makers of Toxic have not responded to the AI-related allegations. Backed by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film continues to generate strong buzz ahead of its release.
