Taxiwaala Gets The Worse Possible Date

After months of waiting a date finally has been set for the release of Taxiwala starring Vijay Deverakonda. It will be arriving in cinemas on November 16th.

After all the delay, the makers of Taxiwala have picked a worse possible release for the movie. November 16th is bang in the middle of a dead season of Telugu cinema. Diwali, itself is a not a big Holiday season in Telugu, but at least one has the single day advantage there, but post-Diwali and that too after Children’s Day, nothing significant happens commercially in Telugu film industry.

There is no movie among all these years in Telugu cinema which has collected 30 Cr in November. Even above 20 Cr, there are only one or two films. That’s how bad the period is for TFI. Let’s see what Taxiwala manages to achieve coming at that time.
