Teacher made to resign on abusive post on Modi

People expect teachers to be ideal and hence can’t tolerate teachers posting something derogatory. That’s the reason why an Indian teacher who has been teaching in Doha, Qatar was forced to resign from her job. Coming to the actual story, an Indian teacher posted an allegedly derogatory cartoon of Prime Minister Modi on her Facebook wall.

Though she says she posted the cartoon only to protest on what has been happening in India, parents of her students complained on the same to the school management, who immediately took up investigation on the matter for using the school logo for her post and henceforth the teacher had no choice but to quit.

The school management is of the opinion that as a teacher she must be a role model to the society and posting such abusive cartoons is going to send wrong message into public. Indian embassy steers clear on any connection with the teacher’s resignation and says that it is absolutely an internal affair of the school.
