Most of the films of Manchu Manoj haven’t had a good run at the box office but it must be said that they are anything but routine. The actor must be credited for trying them out but somewhere down the line box office has to be accounted, isn’t it?

There has to be a success at some level to continue doing the stuff Manchu Manoj has been doing. Gunturodu, therefore, looks like the kind of film done for box office purpose. The heroism and mass aspect with over the top dialogues are all highlighted in the teaser. There is no hiding it or an element of subtlety on display at all.
