Telangana Students to read about Sonia Gandhi!

Sonia Gandhi and Congress Party had almost sacrificed their chances in Andhra Pradesh and granted separate statehood for Telangana. Congress has got no benefit in the elections that followed and the party is struggling to get a part of the credit of the state formation from the Telangana Rashtra Samiti.

The Ruling TRS Party is planning to include the lessons of struggle to Telangana state in the text books very soon and a delegation of Congress party met the Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao and reminded him to also include the contribution of Sonia Gandhi in those lessons.

It is said that KCR has promised to acknowledge Sonia Gandhi’s role in the state formation and promised Congress leaders to give her the due credit in the lessons planned. Government sources did not ratify the commitment but said the lessons will ignore no one involved in the struggle and will cover all the biographies of great leaders, poets and martyrs, who strove for several decades for statehood to Telangana region.
