Telugu Audience’s Slapping Rejection

Audience are evolving in taste with every film and gone are those days if the filmmakers think they can get over with any material. This week’s releases are the examples for the mutated viewership.

Friday had multiple releases including the straight Telugu and dubbed films with top stars, but none of them could impress the audience. Padi Padi Leche Manasu, Antariksham, Zero, KGF and Maari 2. Not even one could make it to get the review of average or above it except KGF. Kannada film KGF is the only film carrying better word of mouth.

Too much romance, too much jargons, heavy heroism are old-fashioned now probably. Even the star heroes like Shah Rukh Khan and Dhanush couldn’t attract the people. Small films with the perfect story are bagging the surprising success. Hope the stars and makers realize that at least now if they have not already.
