Yes you read it right. Even though the hit percentage of the movies every year is declining. The brighter side is that Bollywood is eagerly looking for the remake rights of Telugu movies. Interestingly, there are three hit movies this year so far. Business Man, Poolarangadu, Ishq. (Bodyguard is also a hit but is a remake).
And all these three movies are going to be remade in Hindi. Ram Gopal Varma and Puri Jagannath are going to remake Business Man. Atleast 3 top producers from Hindi are competing each other for the rights of Nithin’s Ishq. Amir Khan Production house and UTV are among them. And the latest is that some of the top production houses are in race for Sunil’s Poolarangadu. Bollywood film makers are aggressively biding for remake rights of Telugu movies since Salman Khan’s Wanted bagged super success there.
