Telugu governments sending requests to FB!

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is way ahead of all the states in the country in dealing with various objectionable contents posted by users. In a bid to censor the Facebook, both the states together have been sending over 350 requests every year seeking user details.

However Facebook is very strict in dealing with such requests and only obliged 50% of those requests from the state police. Facebook is entertaining only those requests in relations to content related to blasphemy, hate speeches and related videos, fake profiles of women and other defamatory activities against female users.
