Telugu, Tamil Folks Claiming Oscar Movie’s Story

Now the point of discussion is the comparison between Oscar-winning Korean movie ‘Parasite’, Vijay Ilayapathi’s Tamil movie ‘Minsara Kanna’ along with a Telugu movie, Ravi Teja’s ‘Tirumala Tirupathi Venkatesha’.

For the uninitiated, the Korean movie ‘Parasite won the Best Screen Play, the Best Director, the Best International Picture and the Best Picture awards in the prestigious Acadamy Awards competition. To everyone’s surprise, a foreign film swept Oscars this time.

Both Telugu and Tamil cine folks are now claiming that the story of the Acadamy winner is similar to the story of the above-mentioned Telugu and Tamil movies. Going by the reports on the similarity in the story, all the three films seem to be made using a similar storyline.

Tamil producer Thenappan who has the rights of ‘Minsara Kanna’ is going to seek legal action against the makers of ‘Parasite’ for having a similar set up in their movie. He has engaged an international advocate for the plan of action against the Korean movie makers.
