Thaman Going The Anirudh & SaNa Way?

Atlee is set to release his much-anticipated action film Baby John this December. The film features Varun Dhawan in his first collaboration with the director. It promises to be an action-packed thriller.

Excitement is building as Varun recently shared a sneak peek on social media. He expressed that he couldn’t contain his excitement to showcase what amazing music has been cooked by composer S. Thaman.

The buzz around Baby John is amplified by the thumping background score, which has been well-received in the announcement video.

However, Thaman’s recent work in Telugu cinema has faced criticism. Fans are disappointed with his compositions for films like Guntur Kaaram, Skanda, and Bro.

His recent tunes for Ram Charan’s Game Changer didn’t impress fans and were also seen as merely “passable.”

Many have taken to social media to express their frustrations. They feel that Thaman’s music has not met expectations.

Fans are accusing Thaman of favoring other industries. They claim he is delivering subpar music for Telugu films, the very industry that made him a star.

Previously, Anirudh and Santosh Narayanan faced similar accusations. Many said they provided their best work to the Tamil film industry instead of Telugu cinema. Since Tamil cinema is their home, it’s not surprising they prioritize it.

However, Thaman’s situation feels different. He is now seen as giving better tunes to Hindi films while neglecting Telugu projects. This shift has left many fans feeling it’s unfair, given that Telugu cinema played a key role in his rise to fame.
