Thaman’s Small Relief After a Long Time

After the all-time blockbuster hit “Jawan,” Atlee is back with another action-packed movie called “Baby John,” which stars Varun Dhawan and is set to hit theaters on May 31, 2024. This time Atlee is just producing the film while his assistant Kaleesi is directing the film.

“Baby John” is based on Vijay and Atlee’s 2016 film “Theri.” The reveal of the title gave a quick look at Varun in the massy role of Baby John which raised some curiosity.

The music for “Baby John” has been done by S. Thaman, while the original “Theri” had music by GV Prakash Kumar.

The announcement video was just about decent, but what caught everyone’s attention was the background music given by Thaman. The music was pulsating and heightened the impact of the teaser.

Back home, Thaman has been consistently receiving brickbats for his mediocre work in Telugu films like Guntur Kaaram, Skanda, and Bro. He was getting brutally trolled by fans for giving music and BGM that let down the films completely.

However, his work on “Baby John” has garnered some positive feedback, offering him a much-needed break from the negativity. It’s a small one, but a relief nonetheless.

Keerthy Suresh makes her Hindi film debut in “Baby John,” alongside Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav. “Baby John” is set to captivate audiences when it releases on May 31, 2024.
