Thandel a promising film from Tollywood, has released its trailer, and the immediate impression is that it keeps the positive hopes alive.
Firstly, the love track between the lead pair Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi looks grounded and carries the realistic vibe essential for a film like Thandel. And the entire setup is well-established. The trailer once again highlights its refreshing appeal.
When looking at the trailer overall, the dialogues -whether in emotional moments, the love track, or the conflict -maintain the sense of promise. The conflict itself is not fully revealed, which adds intrigue and keeps hopes alive for a strong narrative.
As for the dubbing, it might take a little time to adjust going by the trailer, it likely won’t be an issue in the full-length film.
The most critical element, however is the Pakistan-related hook, which will decide the film’s success. Based on what has been shown, it is neither overwhelmingly exciting nor disappointing, as the core conflict remains largely unrevealed.
If the Pakistan conflict is seamlessly woven into the narrative and does not feel forced, the film could deliver both commercial and critical success -a dream outcome for any team.
