After a brief period of pause, the Tollywood has once again taken up the concept of dubbing. Indeed, lots of films of other languages are being dubbed into Telugu and they are pulling in good business. The only thing that has changes is that previously only films of Tamil, English, Kannada, and Malayalam origins were dubbed into Telugu but nowadays the dubbing of popular Hindi films are quite in demand.
Case in point is Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 3 which was released in about 150 theatres across the State. Mr. Reddy who is the president of Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce explains that there is always a demand for good films regardless of the language. Add to that the pull of stars like Hrithik Roshan, Aamir Khan and Abhishek Bachchan, it helps substantially in getting the movies some good openings.
