The release plans of Nani’s biggest film The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela, have once again come under scrutiny as fresh reports indicate possible delays. Initially announced for a March release, the film was later pushed to August 21. Now, strong industry buzz indicates that even this date may not hold.
The project carries massive expectations, especially after the success of Dasara. However, the scale of production appears to be the biggest challenge. With multiple large-scale action sequences, extensive VFX requirements, and several shooting schedules still pending, the film is far from completion. Trade circles now speculate that the release could shift to October or December. There are also chances that it could even be moved to 2027 if delays continue.
Adding to the complexity is the film’s mounting budget, reportedly nearing Rs. 200 crores. Once publicity and promotional costs are added, the overall expenditure could increase further. This puts additional pressure on the makers to ensure quality over speed.
Despite ongoing rumors, the team has not issued any clarification, which has only intensified speculation among Telugu movie lovers. The silence has led many to believe that postponement is pakka.
The second song, expected to release in May after the success of the first track “Aaya Sher,” will be a key indicator. If the song launches as planned along with a confirmed release date, it will signal that the August schedule remains intact. If not, it may confirm further delays.
Another crucial factor is music composer Anirudh Ravichander. While he has already delivered the first song and is working on the next, the background score is reportedly taking longer than expected due to his packed schedule. Given his track record of delivering impactful scores, the team appears willing to give him additional time rather than rush the process. This decision, while creatively sound, could directly influence the film’s release timeline.
Meanwhile, Nani remains fully committed to the project, dedicating bulk dates and continuing shoots without interruption. However, the final release decision may depend less on shooting progress and more on post-production, particularly the music and background score.
