The Paradise Is Nani’s Emotional Film

The Paradise marks the second collaboration between Nani and director Srikanth Odela, following the success of Dasara. Naturally, expectations are high for this rustic period action film.

Although the team is not releasing a trailer due to time constraints, they are promoting the film through various materials. The songs, glimpse and teaser have already generated buzz for the film.

Meanwhile, the makers released a video titled No Filter Just Drive featuring Srikanth Odela and Raghav Juyal, who plays the antagonist in the film.

During the interaction, Srikanth Odela revealed that it was an emotional moment for him to sit in the same office where his mentor Sukumar worked during the making of Rangasthalam. Speaking about casting Raghav Juyal as Vikram Malik, Srikanth Odela said he was looking for an actor with a lean and fit appearance. “I was searching for the right guy for the character for almost eight months. When I saw Raghav, I felt he was the perfect choice.”

Srikanth Odela also revealed that The Paradise explores emotions surrounding identity, relationships and the bond between a mother and her son. He stressed that the film is not merely an action entertainer, but a story-driven drama with emotional elements.

The director is confident that the film will connect with Nani’s core audience. Despite the raw visuals, intense action and mature elements seen in the promotional material, he believes audiences will see a more emotional side to the film when they experience it in theatres. “The Paradise is indeed Nani’s biggest emotional film,” the director said.

Srikanth Odela further described The Paradise as a film with a revolutionary streak. He sees it as a story that challenges the system and brings a rebellious dimension to Telugu cinema. He also spoke highly of Anirudh Ravichander’s music, calling The Paradise one of the composer’s finest works.

Raghav Juyal, meanwhile, said he learned a lot from both Nani and Srikanth Odela. “Srikanth actively listens to audience feedback and treats viewers as a part of the filmmaking process. This approach has influenced me personally as well. I learned from both Srikanth and Nani how to stay genuinely connected with audiences and make creative decisions while keeping their response in mind.”

The actor also spoke about the open and collaborative atmosphere on the sets, which gave him the freedom to contribute creatively. Raghav said he constantly observes everything happening around him and discovers new ideas while shooting.

Both Srikanth Odela and Raghav Juyal expressed confidence that The Paradise will offer audiences a memorable theatrical experience.
