The Paradise is set to release on September 24
Just 10 days are left for The Paradise to hit theatres, but after the film’s first press meet, the promotional campaign still has not really taken off. Nani did meet the media and addressed the biggest question around the film, including the decision to skip the trailer. But what came after that is the bigger question now.
The team has a genuine reason for the slow pace. The film is still in a hectic finishing stage, with post-production work continuing close to the release date. Nani himself has made it clear that the team is prioritising the final film over cutting a trailer.
But promotion does not necessarily have to wait for the final cut.
Nani can still carry the campaign through interviews, digital content, fan interactions and media appearances. The lead cast can keep the film visible even while the technical team concentrates on completing the remaining work.
So far, posters and routine updates are doing most of the talking. For a film releasing on September 24, that feels a little too quiet at this stage.
The no-trailer decision has already created curiosity. Now the makers need to convert that curiosity into theatrical excitement.
The team may be busy finishing The Paradise. But with only 10 days left, they also need to start selling The Paradise much harder.
