The rush of singles

With the need to entice and impress audiences even before the release of films, filmmakers nowadays are doing everything to make it count. One of the most common things is the release a single from the film’s soundtrack in advance. While there are regular audio launches still happening in august fashion, spate of filmmakers choose to release a single track from their film in advance to pique the interest of the audiences.

The number of films releasing single tracks is exponentially growing on a daily basis. It’s not just restricted to Telugu or Tamil industry, but every other industry is now cashing in on the trend. Some of the recent examples include the singles from films such as “DK Bose”, “Mariyaan”, “Raanjhanaa”, among many more.

While the soundtracks of some films are worth the wait, rest is blindly following the trend in order to make an impression.
