Models who win great titles of Miss India or Universe often seem to find a way to get into the world of Bollywood. For these aspiring actress however, the Tollywood appears to be a perfect stepping stone. These days more and more actresses taking the route of Telugu films in a bid to carve a place for themselves in the film world. The Miss India Universe of 2008, Simran Kaur Mundi debuted as an actress with the Telugu movie Potugadu who felt that working in Tollywood was a wonderful experience.
Likewise, Rakul Preet Singh who was a former Miss India also made her debut with Tollywood film named Keratam in 2011 while former Miss India World Pooja Chopra is looking forward to her first Telugu film project.
