The tourism trend in Tollywood!

Ever since the trend of promoting and advertizing began in movies, all the good filmmakers have been using them as ideal platforms to advertize and promote product placements. One of the products being promoted in movies which now become more of a trend is tourism destinations. The producers of the much-hyped Bollywood film ‘Don 2’ bagged Rs 4 crore from the government of Malaysia for promoting it according to reports. An upcoming movie starring Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor film received Rs 1 crore from the Fiji Islands’ government.

Not to be left behind in the race, Tollywood will also make its tourism promotion debut and even gain a lot of money for it. Reports stated that producer Pusala Kishore has talked with the Switzerland Tourism ministry and plans to display the famous tourist spots in his upcoming Telugu-Tamil bilingual film featuring Trisha for which the Swiss government will pay them a whole of Rs 30 lakh along with free accommodation for 10 days for the crew of 12 members.
