Theatres ban PK

Hiking ticker prices for big movies is a norm in Bollywood, almost all the biggies starring the Khans normally have a slight hike in ticket prices from film to film. When the same thing was done to PK, a group of theatres have reportedly banned the film.

It is reported that some theatres in Mumbai including the famous Maratha Mandir has banned the film. Already advance bookings have been stopped and its confirmed that there will be no shows. One expected that PK would be in some sort of controversy based on its theme that touches on religious angle but this has come as a complete surprise to many even in the trade. PK in spite of this ban will release tomorrow as per the plan.

PK stars Aamir Khan in the title role and has Anushka Sharma as heroine. Raju Hirani of Munna Bhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munna Bhai and 3 Idiots fame is directing it.
