‘Title spoiled my good film’

Veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao who once made movies prolifically has slowed down immensely and after ‘Erra Bus’, he didn’t try making any other film in his direction. What’s the reason? Is he planning to do movies or going to retire as a director?

Dasari says that ‘Erra Bus’ was a good film. But the title spoiled and failed in attracting the audiences. He also thinks he made a good film ‘Paramveer Chakra’ with Balayya. These two good films disappointed him and hence he started introspection if the way he is going might not be right.

However, after seeing some budget movies getting good response from audiences recently, Dasari started feeling again that his trend will be accepted. He announced three films in line, two movies would be with other directors and once movie under his direction.

Scripting of the movie with Pawan Kalyan is underway and once it’s completed, he’ll be ready to announce the same.
