To be remakes slipping as Telugu dubbing films

When a film scores block buster success, it is natural that film makers from other languages try to buy the remake rights. Any special subject with a different concept is considered for remakes if the producers think that subject is saleable according to business standards. Recently many Tamil super hit films won a lot of craze for being remade in Telugu.

Ajith’s ‘Veeram’ was considered for a remake but it was dubbed into Telugu as ‘Veerudokkade’. Then Vijay’s ‘Jilla’ too was dubbed with the same title though it was mainly considered to be remade with megastar Chiranjeevi. Latest even ‘Kaththi’ which scored record breaking success in Tamil won a lot of craze and many cine observers thought Pawan would consider it for remake. But Pawan seemed not interested.

Another film which won a lot of craze was Dhanush and Amala Paul starrer ‘VIP’ (Vela Illa Pattadari). Dhanush’s versatile role interested many and some even thought Bunny might be interested to do a different movie like VIP. But even this didn’t materialise and this film’s dubbing version is going to be released soon as ‘Raghuvaran B Tech’ by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. One question is now lingering in the minds of cine critics… Aren’t these movies worth to be remade or our film makers aren’t daring to touch different subjects?
