Box Office: Nani’s HIT 3 Continues Momentum

Nani received the biggest start for any film in his career with HIT 3. As per the communication from the makers, this film had reportedly collected ₹43 crore gross on the opening day.

After this pretty solid start, there were doubts on whether the film would be able to hold the momentum on the second day, but it managed to pass this test with flying colours.

According to the latest poster released by the makers, this film has collected ₹19 crore gross worldwide on its second day. This takes the total tally of the film to ₹62 crore gross worldwide.

The positive thing here for this Nani film is that it comes with a long weekend advantage and the four-day free run at the ticket counters is expected to help its cause further.

With this pretty substantial advantage in terms of free run, HIT 3 is like to go bonkers on Saturday and Sunday. It should not be too big of a surprise if the film reaches in the vicinity of ₹100 crore gross in the opening weekend itself.

The vacuum that was evident for big film experience for the audience is clearly helping this film big time. Adding to that, the neutral acceptance that Nani has created over the years with his incredible consistency is another crucial factor.

At this rate, HIT 3 must soon be the highest grossing film in Nani’s career, beating the current best Dasara which grossed in the range of Rs 120 crore.
