Tollywood Celebs Complacent Earlier, In A Rush Now

Looks like, steep escalation in coronavirus cases have become a nightmare and wake up call for the Tollywood celebrities. The impact of the second wave is more deadly than the first wave. With this, there has been a surge to get vaccine jab not only among the public but celebrities too. While Bollywood celebrities from Hema Malini to Paresh Rawal among others have themselves got vaccinated and created awareness, scenarios were different back here.

Nagarjuna became the first Tollywood actor to get his first Covaxin jab. He was the first one to come out publicly and acknowledge getting vaccinated. On the other side, fans are left guessing if they did not take the jab or did not make it public after getting vaccinated. Sources in the know say that none of them got vaccinated out of the fear of possible side effects or complacency after the cases reduced drastically after the first wave. Ironically, now the same ones are in a rush to get vaccinated.

Seems like Tollywood celebrities have woken up from deep slumber as there is a rush to get vaccinated. Reportedly, four noted Telugu directors got vaccinated today, April 23, while other senior actors including two top actors got their first jab a day back.

Recently, Kalyaan Dhev got tested for Coronavirus, while Prabhas, Mahesh Babu and Ram Charan have isolated themselves after their personal staff got infected with Coronavirus. Meanwhile, many big-ticket films have stopped filming while some have pushed the release date amid rising cases.
