U.S BO: Three Shocks in One Week

The USA box office saw three shocks pertaining to Tollywood in one week and here is an interesting report on the same. The said three films are Saakini Daakini, Nenu Meeku Baga Kavalsinavadini, and Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali.

Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali collected a grand total of $38,000 and it is on course to end up as a complete washout. Mohan Krishna Indraganti is one of Telugu cinema’s sensible directors but he has clearly missed the trick with this film and it is well on track to end up as a disaster.

As for Saakini Daakini, and Kiran Abbavaram‘s films, their USA box office numbers are completely negligible. They are washouts as well.

On the other hand, recent releases, Bramhastra and Oke Oka Jeevitham have done well. With $6.62 million, Bramhastra has turned out to be a blockbuster. It will comfortably beat KGF 2’s tally of 7.27 million.

Sharwa’s Oke Oka Jeevitham has entered the profits zone with $512K. It has grossed $95K last weekend and this is much higher than what the three new Telugu releases Saakini Daakini, Nenu Meeku Baga Kavalsinavadini, and Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali combinedly could.
