Disaster Diwali: Who Will Deliver the Next Relief?

Diwali is over and Tollywood witnessed multiple clashes, turning Diwali 2025 into a true blue disaster compared to last year.

This year’s lineup included Dude, Telusu Kada, KRAMP, and Mithra Mandali while last year had hits like Amaran, Lucky Bhaskar and KA. Despite high expectations, Dude performed reasonably well in Tamil Nadu during the initial days but eventually lost steam. KRAMP managed a few decent evening shows, but beyond that, the entire Diwali season ended on a disappointing note for the industry.

Now, the big question is: who will deliver the next relief?

Coming up, Ravi Teja’s Mass Jathara and Baahubali: The Epic Saga (a combined two-part re-release) are set to clash on October 31. Just a week later, there’s another box-office face-off between Rashmika’s The Girlfriend and Sudheer Babu’s Jatadhara.

It’ll be interesting to see which one brings back some positive energy to Tollywood after this disaster Diwali.
