Baahubali: The Epic, which combines both parts of the legendary Baahubali saga is set to release on October 31. The film is already creating waves with the massive demand and excitement it’s generating. What’s surprising is that despite Baahubali two parts are being easily available on streaming platforms and even on piracy sites, audiences are still eager to experience it again on the big screen.
This re-release also reminds fans of the contrasting journeys of its two leads. Prabhas grew into one of India’s biggest stars after Baahubali 2, taking on larger-than-life projects. While not every film worked- Radhe Shyam being an exception -his ambition has remained consistent.
Rana Daggubati on the other hand, who stunned everyone as Bhallaladeva in Baahubali 2, couldn’t carry that momentum forward. Many expected him to shine like Prabhas post-Baahubali, but his career took an unexpected dip. Despite having his own studio, financial backing, and strong industry connections, Rana’s lack of visible motivation continues to puzzle fans and critics alike.
Hopefully, Baahubali: The Epic serves as a reminder and inspiration for Rana to find another project that reignites his spark. It doesn’t have to match Baahubali in scale, but something that helps him look back and feel proud of his journey as an actor once again.
